Happy Thanksgiving
With that said, I have switched to the Christmas Skin for the remainder of the festive year. Coming up for the new year is the winter skin and then version 7.0 in March.

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
I've been waiting for this movie, so yeah I was excited. I expected a lot of stuff to be cut and moved around and I'm fine with what they did for the most part. My biggest complaint is the soundtrack. Where was John Williams? The main theme for the previous films was almost non-existent. The soundtrack is a huge part of the Potter films, it pulls you into the film. I needed the enchanting score. Imagine if George Lucas asked Danny Elfman to score Episode 3... so why Warner Brothers? why did you drop John Williams from Goblet of Fire? A question I would like an answer to. I know this film is darker in tone, thus the music should help to support this, but composer Patrick Doyle put to much emphasis on misery and suspense. This is still a world of magic is it not? I didn't feel the magic as I did in the previous three films, Williams would have continued that underlying theme with this film had he scored it. Warner Brothers, please bring back John Williams.

Now my only other gripe was Professor Dumbledore. Director Mike Newell turned Dumbledore into a raving lunatic. In one scene he grabs Harry by the throat and demands to know if he entered himself into the tri-wizard tournament. Other scenes he is raging around his pensive and sputtering about how he can't find answers or patterns. Dumbledore is completely frustrated in this film, not the calm, knowledgeable wizard we know in the books and pervious films. I guess this is what happens when you switch directors between films.

Mix Tape Update
I updated the Mix Tape archive. New b96 mixes from Billy the Kid, DJ Spin, Josh the Funky 1, Louie Loop and Mixin Marc. I also added the new Richard Humpty Vission and a bunch more mixes from Naw-T-Boy Nardi who has replaced DJ Markski on the dj list . DJ Markski no longer has a page since I haven't picked up a new mix from him in over two years, his mixes can now be found on the Various DJ Mix and Various Radio Mix sections.

New Skin
In my continued exploration into web design, I have replaced the Halloween skin with the Autumn skin. I plan on creating a Christmas and Winter skin before I put version six to rest and unveil version 7 for St. Patrick's in March. Version 7 will be some of my best work yet.
