Constantine, John
I've been waiting to see Constantine since I saw the trailer late last summer. I must say I liked what I saw. There were plenty of dark gritty visuals, neat camera angles and a bunch of anti smoking messages throughout the movie. I guess you could say the movie was like the Blade series except that it focuses on theology and half breed demons instead of vampires. I have never read the comic book, so I don't know if the movie was true to the original material. I may have to find out. I think Keanu Reeves was perfect for the part; to hell with the people say he is a bad actor. One interesting part about the movie was the idea of heaven and hell. Both heaven and hell are on earth, just on different planes. The movie depiction of hell was pretty neat, imagine the city of L.A. after the apocalypse and the sky is literally on fire. That was hell in this movie, quite different from the idea of underground rock and fire. I hope to see a sequel to this movie
